- Founders submitting anonymous investor reviews
- Founders requesting investor reviews via phone delivery
- Visitors to our landing pages or promotional content2. What We Collect (And What We Don’t)✅ We Collect:
- Startup Domain Email Address: Used for account verification. We do not display any association of your email with your review.
- Phone Number: Required for delivering reviews via voice. Stored temporarily and securely for delivery, then deleted.
- Payment Information: Processed by a third-party provider (e.g., Stripe). We never store your credit card or bank details.
- Basic Usage Metadata: Aggregate data such as call duration, success/failure status (non-personally identifiable).❌ We DO NOT Collect:
- IP addresses
- Browser fingerprints3. Anonymity by Design
We designed unfunded.vc with founder protection as our first principle:
- Reviews are submitted through a zero-log interface.
- No session data is tied to reviews.
- Reviews are transformed by a language model (LLM) into fully anonymized summaries.
4. How We Deliver Reviews
- We do not display reviews on a public website or app.
Instead, a high quality review summary of all the reviews is delivered via a secure phone call using text-to-speech (TTS).
- Each review request is one-time use.
- No audio is recorded.
- Phone numbers are deleted after use unless you opt in to a subscription plan.5. Use of Aggregated Data
- We may use fully anonymized, aggregated data to:
- Improve platform quality
Identify industry-wide trends (e.g., most common founder pain points)
- Produce insight reports (without any personally identifiable data)
- We do not sell, rent, or share this data with any third party for advertising or tracking.6. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party services for:
- Payment processing (e.g., Stripe)
- Phone call/text-to-speech infrastructure (e.g., Twilio)
- Email delivery (e.g., Postmark, SendGrid, Mailgun)
These services are governed by their own privacy policies and operate under strict data processing agreements.7. Your Rights

Startup email addresses are deleted after verification.
Phone numbers are deleted after delivery unless you opt in to a subscription.
Review content is permanently deleted after LLM processing.

We use end-to-end encryption, firewalled infrastructure, and role-based access to ensure your data is protected. We follow OWASP and GDPR-aligned best practices, even though we do not currently target EU residents.10. Changes to This Policy

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of unfunded.vc (the "Platform", "we", "our", or "us"), a platform that allows startup founders to submit and receive anonymized reviews of venture capitalists and angel investors for the purpose of assessing founder-investor fit.By accessing or using unfunded.vc, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.1. Eligibility
You must be:
- A startup founder or team member
- Using a valid business email address from your startup domain (no Gmail, Yahoo, or public email providers)
- At least 18 years of age
We reserve the right to deny access to anyone at our sole discretion if eligibility cannot be verified.2. Purpose of the Platform
unfunded.vc is designed to:
- Collect anonymous reviews from verified startup founders about their experiences with investors
- Use AI to summarize and anonymize those reviews into generalized, unbiased feedback
- Deliver those summaries privately via phone using text-to-speech technology
- Protect the identity of both the review writer and the reviewer recipient
We do not display any reviews publicly or offer access to data through a website or app.3. Review Submission
- By submitting a review, you confirm that you are sharing your own personal experience with the investor being reviewed.
- You agree not to submit false, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content.
- All reviews are final. Once submitted, they are processed, anonymized, and cannot be edited or retracted.
- We reserve the right to discard reviews that contain identifying information or violate our guidelines.⚠️ You may not use the platform to impersonate others, attack investors personally, or attempt to sabotage their business or reputation with fabricated claims.4. Anonymity & AI Transformation
- All reviews are processed through a Language Learning Model (LLM) which abstracts, summarizes, and anonymizes the content.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your review does not contain any unintentional identifying details.5. Review Access & Fees
- Founders may access individual investor summaries by paying a one-time fee of $4.99 per call or a $49.99/month subscription.
- All reviews are delivered by voice call through text-to-speech. No text versions are shared, and no recordings are stored.
- Phone numbers provided are used exclusively for delivery and are deleted immediately after use unless part of a subscription plan.
- You agree not to distribute, record, transcribe, or publicly disclose the contents of any voice-delivered reviews.6. Subscription Terms
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- No refunds will be issued for unused time during a billing period.7. Intellectual Property
All content on unfunded.vc, including AI-generated summaries, logos, design, and branding, is the exclusive property of unfunded.vc. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute any portion of the platform or its data.8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to defame, threaten, or harass any person or entity
- Attempt to identify or expose reviewers or reviewed investors
Share your access credentials with others
- Use the platform for data scraping, surveillance, or third-party profiling
- Interfere with the operation of the platform in any way
- Violations may result in account suspension, loss of access, and legal action.9. Disclaimer of Warranties
unfunded.vc provides information on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any review content, AI summary, or investor information.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding investor behavior or fundraising outcomes based on the reviews provided.10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, unfunded.vc shall not be liable for:
- Any loss of funding, business opportunity, or investor relationship due to review content
- Any misuse or misinterpretation of summaries provided
- Any unauthorized access to user data despite reasonable security precautions
Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for access to the platform in the 12 months preceding the incident.11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or compromise the anonymity or integrity of the system.12. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" and notify users with active subscriptions. Continued use after changes means you agree to the updated terms.13. Governing Law
